The federal regulators have decided to change the BSA regulation, based in part on the 2021 law. While many of the changes that are proposed are really just “catching the regulation up” to the current reality, there are some new twists and turns which probably will make your life more difficult and increase the costs of your BSA program (now AML/CFT). It will impact your risk assessment, your policies, and quite possibly, your procedures.
This webinar will review the 2021 law and the proposed changes that that will most likely occur during 2025. This webinar will help you get ready to make the appropriate changes that will be coming.
MEET THE PRESENTER
Veronica Madsen, Compliance Consultant
Veronica is a seasoned consultant with a robust legal background and decades of banking experience. Her career began at a financial institution trade association, followed by roles as a Regulatory Attorney, Chief Compliance Officer at a fintech company, and founder of ESTEE Compliance, where she provided compliance services to financial institutions. She has also created and managed a compliance management system at a fintech company and has overseen the Bank Secrecy Act training program at a large bank.
